This 10 mile expert trail is extremely difficult climbing with a wicked fast downhill. Great when ridden as an out and back. Can add Flat creek trail or Lake Blue Ridge trail for more length. (I-575 north to Blue Ridge. Make a right on Aska Road. Travel about five miles, trailhead is on your right.)
- Long Branch Loop*
This 2.2 mile beginner trail is a wide single track (old logging road that has grown up, one stream crossing, a few water bars to jump. (From I-515, turn right at stop light onto Windy Ridge Road (KFC). Go .1 miles to 3 way stop, turn left. Go .1 miles and turn right on Aska Road. Take Aska Road for 5.9 miles to Shady Falls Road on your left. Go .2 miles, parking lot is on your left).
- Flat Creek Loop*
This 5.9 mile intermediate trail is both single track and old road bead. (Go south on Aska road 4.4 miles to the Deep Gap parking lot on your right, just over the crest of a hill. The trail starts from the upper end of the parking lot).
- Flat Creek*
This is a 5.6 mile intermediate trail about 1+ miles of pure single track with rest narrow double track. One great rock garden. One stream crossing in the winter, two during wet months. (Go south on Aska Road. Go 3.5 miles to Deep Gap parking lot which is on the right. Look for a bike x-ing sign).

The Aska Trail Area is 17 mile hiking-mountain bicycling trail system developed on National Forest
lands near Deep Gap on Aska Road. Trails range in length from 1 to 5.5 miles and are open to the
public year round. The trails ascend to near 3,200 feet, providing vistas of mountain ridges, and
descend to the shores of Lake Blue Ridge.
